Favorite Applique Quilt

This is one of my all time favorite hand applique projects.  It took me several years to finish.  It started when my friend, Rachel, asked me to take a class to make a four block wall hanging from the book.  Well, I fell in love with the center Cottage block and had to make the entire quilt!

The longarm quilting is exquisite, and not done by me!

It's hanging on the wall between my dining room and living room.

It's a big quilt and I'm fortunate to have this large wall space.

This was my first scalloped border, I think it looks fine.
